The record is a stellar mix of choice cover versions, Bridget classics and some of her newer songs. Running at almost 50 minutes, we are releasing this as a 12" vinyl LP/download.
Mixed and mastered by the ever reliable Mr Tony Poole (himself a performer on that same Saturday afternoon), we are presenting Bridget's complete set (shorn of just a few spoken intros and of course in-between song guitar tunings). It was a magical performance and fortunately for those not lucky enough to be there, her set was recorded for posterity. In February 2017 after a couple of false starts, I managed to get Bridget to play a special show at the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon. It coincides with the 50th anniversary of her debut 45 and LP on John Peel's Dandelion label. In conjunction with our mates in Massachusetts, Feeding Tube Records, we are releasing a live LP by one of the true great British singer/ songwriters of her generation, Bridget St. LIVE AT THE BETSEY TROTWOOD - BRIDGET ST.
